Mr. Belkacem Chakouri specializes in business law, banking law, insurance law, commercial law and contract law. He assists his clients with contract drafting, joint ventures between companies, real estate law, criminal law, family law, employment law and criminal defense, and also works in competition law and business litigation.
He completed outstanding studies (top of his class) in legal and political sciences in France and Canada, and is fully trilingual.
He took over the Firm in 1994 (Bar No. 1594) and grew its activity locally by working throughout Morocco, and internationally by entering into a partnership (Co-operation and Alliance Agreement) with "Shanghai Landing Law Firm", which has over 700 staff. Abroad, he handles matters involving major civil engineering works (PPP/BOT), the negotiation of partnership agreements between companies, and the healthcare sector.
The Chakouri Firm has built an international network of lawyers across the Americas, Canada, Europe (Spain, Germany, France), the Maghreb, Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as India and China.
The Firm is a member of the A.E.A. and the official representative in Morocco of the GESICA international network of lawyers.
